We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as Director of Adult Social Care. This is a key role in our organisation, responsible for leading the senior leadership team and supporting us to continue our journey of transformation.

About the Role

The Director of Adult Social Care will work alongside two new Director roles to lead a large operational service at the heart of how we support the most vulnerable. We are outcomes focused, our assessment, care planning and delivery is strengths-based and built upon co-production between people with lived experience, carers and professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the senior leadership team and support the transformation of our adult social care services.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve outcomes for adults with care and support needs.
  3. Work across the department, wider council and with partners to deliver better outcomes for people.
  4. Empower colleagues to work with residents to develop solutions that best suit individual needs.
