About the Role
We are seeking an experienced User Experience (UX) Developer to join our team at Ulster University. As a UX Developer, you will play a key role in transforming our approach to web development, delivering continuous improvements to visibility, usability, and accessibility of University websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop user-centered interfaces for web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and requirements
- Develop and implement solutions to improve website usability and accessibility
- Maintain and update existing web applications to ensure they meet evolving user needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in UX design and development
- Proven track record of improving website usability and accessibility
- Strong understanding of human-centered design principles
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- Experience with front-end development frameworks such as React or Angular
