Agricultural Sales Professional with Business Development Opportunities

De Lacy Executive is seeking a highly motivated Agricultural Sales Professional to join their team in South Wales. As a sales representative, you will be responsible for advising farmers and selling feed supplements and animal health products.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about agricultural sales and business development. You will have the chance to work closely with farmers, providing expert advice on feed supplements and animal health products, and identifying new business opportunities.
In this role, you will also be responsible for:
- Building strong relationships with existing and potential customers;
- Developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve targets;
- Attending industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date with market trends and network with key stakeholders;
- Working closely with the De Lacy Executive team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Strong knowledge of feed supplements and animal health products, including their benefits and applications;
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers at all levels;
- A willingness to travel regularly, visiting farms and meeting with customers across South Wales;
- Commercial livestock farming experience, preferably in the feed supplement and animal health product sectors;
- Basic understanding of business development principles and practices.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of £40,000 per annum, plus a commission structure that rewards high performers. You will also receive a car allowance, pension scheme, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
