Foodbuy Group, a leading food procurement organisation in the UK, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Professional to join their busy team. This role will play a key part in managing day-to-day operational projects, including holding suppliers and distributors accountable to meeting stated performance KPIs, product and supplier issue resolution, mitigating risk due to obsolete inventory (waste), promotional and allocation planning, seasonal forecasting, nominated line stock management, new line listings for newly negotiated items and/or product changes, and supplier management.

This Supply Chain Planning Professional will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and be responsible for communicating operational product, supply and service issues to relevant stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in supply chain or buying, with a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations. They will possess excellent customer service, supplier accountability and issue resolution skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing stakeholder needs, priorities and timelines.
