Job Title: Lead Editor - Conversational Shopping

Job Summary:

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Lead Editor to drive the development of conversational shopping experiences in British English. As a key member of the Conversational Shopping team, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, engaging content that meets the needs of customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and annotate short-form content to evaluate and train AI models.
  • Style Guidelines: Define, align, and guide stakeholders in implementing style guidelines for Generative AI shopping experiences.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold response quality using customer feedback to drive improvements across team processes.
  • Analysis and Problem-Solving: Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to enhance the quality of evaluation and annotation tasks.
  • Prompt Generation and Reinforcement Learning: Create and use frameworks for Prompt Generation and Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) to improve the fluency of AI models.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product, science, and engineering stakeholders to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Strong Editing and Writing Skills: Proven experience in editing, PR, marketing, communications, copywriting, journalism, UX/CX product or program management.
  • Native Language Proficiency: Native language proficiency in British English.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, English/English literature, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or comparable fields.
  • Knowledge of Linguistic Distinctions: Well-versed in the linguistic distinctions between British and American English.
  • Project Management: Highly effective at writing and assessing short-form content across diverse subject matters and experience in defining and owning project objectives, requirements, and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Generative AI Editorial Experience: Experience working in Generative AI Editorial, Content Management, Prompt Engineering, Tutoring, and/or Annotation.
  • Style and Vocabulary Distinctions: Knowledgeable in the style and vocabulary distinctions between English in Britain and in Commonwealth countries (including Australia, Singapore, South Africa).
  • Team Management: Experience in team management.
