International Account Manager for Luxury Brands

We are seeking a highly skilled ROW & LATAM Account Manager to join our team at Veblen International. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our international growth by developing strategic go-to-market plans, managing distribution partners, and increasing brand awareness in these markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement international distribution strategies that align with brand objectives.
  • Drive sustainable long-term growth and increase brand awareness in the assigned region.
  • Review and optimise the performance of current distribution partners to ensure they meet the brand's premium standards.
  • Identify priority areas and conduct market research to inform go-to-market strategies, including potential distributor options.
  • Create and manage forecasts and budgets for your region, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Establish and maintain strategic business plans and marketing strategies with distribution partners.
  • Identify and implement region-specific marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Travel to various regions to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
  • Work with partners to ensure effective inventory planning, reducing dependency on central warehouse stock.
  • Maintain brand integrity and premium positioning across all partners and regions.
  • Present new collections to distributors in an engaging manner.
  • Oversee international cross-border trading and compliance with regional legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience with regional or junior account manager role, with extensive experience managing international distributors in LATAM territories.
  • Proficiency in English, with additional languages such as Spanish and Portuguese being advantageous.
  • Ability to develop and present comprehensive go-to-market strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Strong commercial skills, including pricing strategy and market analysis.
  • Deep understanding of brand building and long-term strategic decision-making.
  • Proficient in market research, identifying distribution partners, and conducting SWOT analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
  • Strong client-focused approach with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Experience in managing projects and negotiating distribution agreements.
  • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
  • Awareness of and sensitivity to global cultural differences.
  • Enthusiastic team player who enjoys a collaborative and enjoyable work environment.
