Commercial Vehicle Parts Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Parts Controller to join our team at Black Cat Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our commercial vehicle maintenance company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth progression of repair events for our clients and their customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Communication: Respond to customer, colleague, and client telephone calls in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner, quickly assessing the requirements and providing clear next steps and actions.
- Parts Sourcing: Check POD for planning engineer re-attendance at repair events, update customers and internal colleagues on the status of VOR awaiting parts, and confirm accurately and clearly to allow the customer to be updated.
- Job Sheet Management: Verify all parts are booked as ordered and required, make clear notes for stores to pick and pack, and ensure email inboxes are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Incident Reporting: Report all incidents to a line manager and take appropriate action to address issues raised.
- Excellent Communication: Excellent communication abilities, with great customer service skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with good numeracy skills.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Parts Controller in the commercial vehicle or automotive industry is desirable.
