Parts Coordinator

An award-winning commercial vehicle maintenance company is seeking a skilled Parts Coordinator to join their busy office in Wednesbury. This exciting role involves sourcing parts for the smooth progression of repair events for clients and their customers.
Duties:
- Respond to customer, colleague, and client telephone calls in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Update customers and internal colleagues clearly articulating next steps and actions being taken.
- Check POD for planning the engineer to re-attend a repair event.
- Check details of all ongoing events, updating status and confirming accurately and clearly.
- Verify all parts are booked as ordered and required.
- Make clear notes to job sheets for stores to Pick and pack, right first time.
- Handle email in-boxes efficiently and effectively, taking appropriate action to address issues raised.
Person specification:
- Excellent communication abilities
- Great customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Good numeracy skills
- Strong organisational skills & attention to detail
- Previous experience as a Parts Controller in the commercial vehicle or Automotive Industry (desirable)
