Health Records Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health Records Officer to join our team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Health Records Department, you will provide routine clerical support to ensure an effective and efficient service to all users.
You will work closely with our Digital Services Team, which brings numerous benefits, including shared learning opportunities to improve our services for patients and superb opportunities for staff personal and professional development and career advancement.
Key Responsibilities- Retrieval and filing of case notes, identifying and filtering case notes in accordance with Trust Policies, KPIs, and departmental SOPs.
- Reviewing the storage of case notes both on and off-site, ensuring data corresponds with the Patient Administration System (PAS) and meeting information governance standards.
- Providing support to other areas of the department as needed.
- GCSE/O level standard in English or equivalent.
- Use of Trust IT systems.
The role involves working in a warehouse environment, working at height, and lifting casenotes and pushing heavy trolleys/cages. You will be based in the Clinic Prep Team and will be expected to help other areas of the department as needed.
