Talent Acquisition Coordinator - Heathrow Office

Menzies seeks a talented and organized individual to join our Talent Acquisition team as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. This is a dynamic role that will see you contributing to both Early careers and also Professional hiring across our 8 UK offices.

This is a hybrid role that will provide you with a wide range of opportunities to learn and contribute towards the continued success and growth at Menzies.

The key responsibilities of this role include supporting the Trainee graduate/apprentice hiring cycles, using standardised screening techniques to assess the skills, qualifications and experience of potential candidates, and diary coordination with various hiring and HR managers for interviews.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in an in-house/Talent Acquisition role or with an agency, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Trainee graduate/apprentice hiring cycles.
  • Use standardised screening techniques to assess the skills, qualifications and experience of potential candidates.
  • Diary coordination with various hiring and HR managers for interviews.
  • Keep the Kallidus ATS system up to date as candidates progress through the recruitment process.
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  • Act as point of contact for candidates on the progress of their application.
  • Report on activity and progress to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Event And Career Fairs Management

  • Support and coordinate candidate events such as assessment centres, on-campus activity, recruitment talks, visits and conferences and prepare materials and equipment for them.

Administration/Team Support

  • Create and issue employment paperwork including offer letters and contracts of employment.
  • Schedule interviews.
  • Maintain and update the internal recruitment folders.
  • Manage the recruitment/careers inbox and answer any external queries.
  • General administration support to the wider HR team, when required.
  • Create social media posts to promote hiring opportunities.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in an in-house/Talent Acquisition role or with an agency is required.
  • Experience of Early Careers hiring is highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communicator and the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone.
  • Strong planning, organisation and excellent attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of technology, such as Microsoft Office applications, social media platforms etc.
  • A self-starter who is pro-active and a quick learner.
  • Flexible and accepting of change.

Required Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to deal with strictly confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to deal with various stakeholder levels.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Educated to a degree level is desirable.
  • CIPD and/or Recruitment and Employment Confederation qualifications are desirable.

Travel requirement

Some planned travel may be required to the other offices as well as for the career fairs, events and assessment centres.
