**About the Role**

Vector Resourcing is seeking an experienced Strategic Vendor Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with key IT vendors and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vendor management, contract negotiation, and risk management. You will work closely with our procurement team and senior leadership to develop and implement strategies for handling upcoming contract renewals, identifying vendors or contracts at risk, and mitigating potential issues.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage relationships with key IT vendors and suppliers, including Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, and various smaller service providers.
  • Review, monitor, and manage all vendor contracts to ensure terms are adhered to and optimized.
  • Develop a strategy for handling upcoming contract renewals, including vendor negotiations and evaluation of contract terms.
  • Identify vendors or contracts at risk and implement strategies to mitigate any potential issues.
  • Work closely with the procurement team and senior leadership to make informed decisions regarding vendor performance, contract renewals, and future partnerships.
  • Oversee and mentor a Procurement Officer, who will provide support with contract administration and day-to-day procurement tasks.
