Project Engineer Specialist

OLG Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer Specialist to work for a major client in Cumbria. This is a full-time, permanent position with an estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
The Opportunity
As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for providing effective and safe management and oversight of all outage planning and delivery, infrastructure and maintenance projects. You will report directly to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager and work closely with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Responsibilities:
- Manage outage planning and delivery, ensuring timely completion and within budget
- Oversight of infrastructure and maintenance projects, including coordination with stakeholders and vendors
- Develop and implement project management plans, risk assessments, and quality control measures
Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with excellent communication and leadership skills. You should have a strong understanding of project management principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the energy sector
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
