Job Summary

VINCI Facilities is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of our school's physical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Facility Maintenance and Operations
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all school buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement a routine maintenance schedule for all facilities.
  • Ensure that all school facilities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage the security of the school premises, including alarm systems, CCTV, and access control.
  • Oversee waste management and recycling programs.
Staff Management
  • Supervise the facilities team, including Caretakers, MRT's, Clean team and Grounds Team.
  • Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for facilities staff.
Budget Management
  • Prepare and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions for maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure all financial activities align with VINCI's budgetary constraints.
  • Manage inventory for maintenance supplies and equipment.
Vendor and Contractor Coordination
  • Liaise with external contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, or renovations.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure the timely completion of projects within budget.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on completed work.
Health and Safety Compliance
  • Ensure that all school facilities meet local, state, and federal safety and environmental standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Implement emergency preparedness procedures, including fire drills and evacuation plans.
  • Maintain records of safety inspections.
