About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Apprentice Procurement Coordinator to join our team at Bellrock Property and Facilities Management. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of supply and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raising of Purchase Orders for goods, services, and plant-hire, liaising with suppliers and colleagues to validate quantities, confirm prices, and input orders onto our bespoke company IT platform.
  • Providing phone support covering the purchase order telephone line, handling inbound internal calls from engineers wishing to purchase goods from suppliers.
  • Obtaining quotations from suppliers.
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding outstanding quotations or deliveries via email and phone calls.
  • Miscellaneous office duties.
  • Complying with all company policy and procedures, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Basic numeracy capability.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • At least grade 4 in Maths and English.
  • Reliable good time-keeping and dependable.
  • Independence, able to manage workload with minimal supervision.
  • Teamwork, as well as being able to work independently, able to work as part of a team and able to help other team members if needed.
  • Attention to detail, job requires being accurate in interpreting and communicating commercial details. Accurate data input requirements on internal and external work management systems.
  • Basic level of commercial and financial acumen.
  • Good Time Management skills, able to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines and meet targets.
Working Arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the Bellrock Property and Facilities Management Sheffield Office, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with 30 minutes for lunch.
