We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pre-Operative Care Coordinator to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust.

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing patients before surgery to determine their suitability for the procedure.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge as a nurse.

The successful candidate will have current NMC registration, experience working in adult care, and evidence of continual professional development.

A competitive salary of £40,000 per year, between 27-33 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, and membership of the NHS pension scheme are just some of the benefits on offer.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a pre-operative assessment unit or similar and possess safeguarding level 3 training.

Job Description:

The Pre-Operative Care Coordinator will be responsible for assessing patients before surgery to determine their suitability for the procedure. This will involve working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.

Requirements:
  • Current NMC registration.
  • Experience working in adult care.
  • Evidence of continual professional development.
  • Safeguarding level 3 training.
  • Previous experience working in a pre-operative assessment unit or similar.
