In this role, you'll conduct assessments of clients' disabilities and health conditions, gathering essential information to inform benefit decisions. Your findings will provide valuable insights into how these conditions impact daily life, enabling the DWP to make informed decisions.

To excel as a Healthcare Professional - Assessment Specialist, you'll require:

  • An NMC registered nursing qualification (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) or HCPC qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist with at least one year's post-registration experience
  • Superb communication skills, with the ability to empathise with clients and articulate complex information clearly
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology, ensuring seamless data collection and analysis
  • Ability to work comfortably with diverse clients, including those with mental health conditions
