Senior Nursing Professional

**Job Description:** As a Senior Nursing Professional in our ERAS+ team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of clinical excellence. You will be responsible for assessing patients, planning, implementing care, and maintaining associated healthcare records, while also coordinating the care of Colorectal Enhanced Recovery Patients.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre-surgical assessments of patients, including referrals to other healthcare professionals.
- Providing psychological support to patients undergoing major abdominal surgery.
- Assessing patients, planning, implementing care, and maintaining associated healthcare records.
- Coordinating the care of Colorectal Enhanced Recovery Patients, collaborating with surgeons, anaesthetists, and ward nursing staff.
**Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse with experience working within Colorectal Surgery.
- Evidence of continuing professional development in related specialties.
- Counselling skills or health promotion qualification.
**Salary:** £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
