We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Volunteer to join our team in Accrington, Lancashire.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of wellbeing and harm reduction interventions within our Healthcare Team.
You will be trained to provide assessment, basic observations, home visits/outreach, and support with alcohol detoxes.
The successful candidate will be open-minded, flexible, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Healthcare Team in delivering wellbeing and harm reduction interventions
- Provide assessment and basic observations as required
- Undertake home visits/outreach and support individuals with alcohol detoxes
To be considered for this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals.
Training and DevelopmentYou will receive comprehensive training on all aspects of the role, including safeguarding, boundaries, drug awareness, and trauma-informed care.
This training will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this position and make a positive impact on the lives of those we support.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this role is estimated at approximately £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
