The Buying Assistant role is a key part of our buying team, offering a great stepping stone into a career in buying. You will support the category team by introducing new ranges to stores and contribute to daily implementation.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain product lines and ranges across our stores.
  • Source accurate product information from suppliers to enhance our customer experience.
  • Communicate effectively with stores about category activations and ensure seamless execution.
  • Maintain pricing and promotions for the category to maximize sales.
  • Analyze data to determine optimal prices for all products, including competitor analysis.
  • Manage promotional activities, including invoicing and margin funding to achieve business goals.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements within the admin community.
Requirements:
  • A degree or relevant retail/admin experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) to analyze data and create presentations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to build effective relationships.
  • Excellent administration and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong numerical skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills to address challenges effectively.
  • Proactive and resourceful to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and achieve business objectives.
