We are seeking a Product Range Specialist to join our Merchandising team at New Look.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and managing our product ranges across all channels and markets.

You will work closely with Buying to ensure we have the right products in the right stores at the right times, maximizing our profit and minimizing risks.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve department KPIs in line with strategy and department plan, maximizing sales and profit.
  • Review weekly sales and stock intake, coordinating action to maximize profitability and reduce risks.
  • Contribute to range development, ensuring the product reflects the brand strategy and the range is without gaps and duplication.
  • Manage commitment to ensure operational efficiency and stock targets are met.
  • Presentation of range sign offs in line with department/strategy and customer requirements.
  • Present departmental strategy every season, including lessons learned and strategy to implement going forwards.
  • Monitor product groups, determining pricing strategy and influencing range building in conjunction with the Buyer.
  • Apply knowledge of the current competitive market place.
  • Ensure in-season activity delivers planned sales, margin, and terminal stock targets.
  • Analyse data, identify issues and trends, and interpret results to provide recommendations.
  • Manage the in-season Open to Buy (OTB) down to season/department level.
  • Review current sales with the Buyer, reacting appropriately to maximize sales opportunity.
