The Role:
As the Director of Human Capital Development, you will be responsible for leading the development of strategies to attract, retain, and develop high-quality staff across our schools. This will involve working closely with senior leaders to drive talent development and create a strong talent pipeline.
You will also be responsible for leading a team of professionals who will work together to design and implement effective recruitment, induction, and development programs.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in talent acquisition and development, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills. They will be able to convey a strong strategic vision and align talent acquisition strategies with the organization's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop high-quality staff across our schools.
- Work closely with senior leaders to drive talent development and create a strong talent pipeline.
- Lead a team of professionals who will work together to design and implement effective recruitment, induction, and development programs.
- Convey a strong strategic vision and align talent acquisition strategies with the organization's business objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive talent development and improve educational outcomes.
What You Will Need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related field.
- A proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment, with a track record of success in leadership roles.
- Significant previous experience of leading a Learning and Development function, ideally within the education field.
- Ability to convey a strong strategic vision and align talent acquisition strategies with the organization's business objectives.
- Expertise in talent sourcing, attracting top-tier candidates, working with senior leaders to drive talent development and a strong talent pipeline.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building abilities to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a range of benefits, including annual leave, pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, and exclusive discounts.
