Job Details
  • Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum.
  • Incentive/Commission: Yes.

Job Description

The Studio Manager is responsible for the growth and operations of their studio and team. This includes leading membership sales, maintaining studio standards, and onboarding new team members. The ideal candidate has a background in sales, fitness management, and excellent communication skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesStudio Growth + Retention
  • Drive membership sales and meet performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to ensure membership growth and retention.
  • Engage the local community to drive awareness and studio launch.
  • Manage Mindbody and Loyalsnap.
Operations
  • Manage daily studio operations, including expenses and payroll budgets.
  • Maintain top-notch cleanliness, appearance, and organization of the studio.
  • Maintain serviceability of training equipment.
Community
  • Provide exceptional customer service and set high standards for the team.
  • Execute community calendar promotions and events.
  • Develop and execute F45 8/6 week Challenge plans.
Brand Recognition
  • Ensure compliance with F45/FS8 business policies and standards.
  • Assist with special projects, events, and promotions as needed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and model behavior.
Team Leadership
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop a dynamic team of fitness trainers and staff.
  • Track and ensure accuracy of all mandatory education certifications/training for trainers.
  • Train and manage staff by prescribed BBG methods.
  • Develop a high-energy culture through purpose-driven and incentive-based motivation.
  • Plan and coordinate shift schedules and ensure smooth running of daily class schedules.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the team based on studio performance.
Prerequisites
  • Level 3 PT Qualifications.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certification.
  • 2+ years of proven sales leadership in the Health & Fitness industry.
  • 3+ years of management experience, including staff management.
  • Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of business processes and functions.
  • Outstanding customer service, communication, organizational, and written skills.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive environment.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office programs and MindBody.
