Studio Manager Job Description

The F45 Studio Manager is a key position responsible for driving the growth and operations of our studios. As a leader in the fitness industry, you will be expected to deliver exceptional results, manage a team, and maintain the highest standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Studio Growth & Retention:
    • Drive membership sales and meet or exceed required performance metrics (KPIs)
    • Collaborate with the Sales Director to ensure membership growth and retention
    • Engage the local community to drive awareness and studio launch
    • Manage Mindbody and Loyalsnap
  • Operations:
    • Manage daily studio operations
    • Manage studio operating expenses and payroll budgets within targets
    • Manage/coordinate vendors/suppliers
    • Maintain top-notch cleanliness, appearance, and organization of the studio
    • Maintain serviceability of training equipment
  • Community:
    • Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service
    • Execute community calendar promotions and events
    • Develop all F45 8/6 week Challenge plans and execute all agreed plans
  • Brand Recognition:
    • Ensure compliance and adherence to F45/FS8 business policies and standards
    • Assist with special projects, events, and promotions as needed
    • Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and model behavior by company standards
  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop a dynamic team of fitness trainers and staff
    • Track and ensure accuracy of all mandatory education certifications/training for all trainers
    • Train and manage all staff by the prescribed BBG methods
    • Develop a high-energy culture through purpose-driven and incentive-based motivation
    • Plan and coordinate shift schedule and ensure the smooth running of a fully staffed daily class schedule
    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the team based on Studio performance

Requirements:

  • Level 3 PT Qualifications
    • CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
    • 2+ years of proven sales leadership in the Health & Fitness industry required
    • 3+ years of management experience, including directly overseeing all aspects of staff management from hiring, training, supporting, disciplining, and terminating
    • Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
    • Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, etc.)
    • Outstanding experience delivering high-quality customer service, excellent communication, organizational, and written skills
    • Excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clients
    • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Computer proficiency with MS Office programs and MindBody as well as various media platforms
