About the Job:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Wellbeing and Empowerment Advisor to join our team at Standguide, located in Hull. As a critical member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in improving the wellbeing and employability of individuals facing barriers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Design and deliver engaging training sessions on health wellbeing topics, focusing on alcohol reduction and related issues.
  • Partnership Development: Foster strong relationships with local healthcare providers, facilitating collaboration and referral pathways.
  • Staff Enablement: Provide tailored coaching and mentoring to operational staff, enhancing their knowledge and skills in Health and Wellbeing.
  • Client Support: Develop and implement personalized Health and Wellbeing plans for participants, addressing their unique needs.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Teaching/Coaching/Mentoring certification or significant experience.
  • Previous work with vulnerable populations.
  • UK driving license for travel requirements.
