We are working with a leading provider of children's specialist services to recruit Qualified Psychologists to join their Children's Clinical Team.
Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical, Forensic, Counselling or Educational Psychologist who has experience working with children.
You will divide your week between working from home and travelling to visit the children's residential homes within your geographical remit.
The homes provide specialist care and support for children and young people who have backgrounds of complex trauma, learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions and challenging behaviours.
Responsibilities- Carry out assessments and consultations, formulate therapeutic plans and conduct direct work with the children and young people.
- Deliver training and provide advice to residential staff on how to best support children in their care.
- Doctorate level degree in Clinical, Counselling, Forensic or Educational Psychology.
- Full HCPC registration without conditions.
- UK Driving Licence and access to own car is essential.
- Clear and enhanced DBS.
- Experience working with children and young people within CAMHS, residential or specialist education settings.
- Good understanding of residential care, trauma-informed practice and multidisciplinary working.
Home-based role with travel to visit services in your area.
Opportunity to work closely with senior colleagues and contribute to the development of the Children's Clinical Team.
Salary: up to £63,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
