Job Overview

The BCUHB Adult Learning Disability Clinical Psychology Department is seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive atmosphere and contribute to delivering high-quality services to individuals with learning disabilities.

Main Duties

  • Deliver clinical psychology services to individuals with learning disabilities, including assessments, interventions, and consultations.
  • Work collaboratively with the Learning Disability Team to provide a comprehensive service to clients.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of team policies and procedures.
  • Provide supervision and support to colleagues as needed.

Person Specification

  • Good Honours degree in Psychology and eligibility for Chartered status with the BPS.
  • HCPC Registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or its equivalent.
  • Clinical Supervision training for Doctoral trainees.

Desirable Criteria

  • Advanced Training in research design and methodology.

Experience

  • Significant experience of qualified clinical psychology practice.
