Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Main Responsibilities- Manage ventilated, haemofiltered, and cardiovascularly compromised patients under supervision, developing professionally and utilizing competency-based knowledge and skills.
- Support Nurse Team Leaders and Nurse Team Managers in the training and development of junior staff.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the management of acutely unwell/deteriorating patients nursed outside the critical care setting.
- Keep fully informed about changes in Critical Care, Outreach, and update professional knowledge to meet the requirements for Revalidation.
- Plan and deliver patient care to the highest standard, utilizing a holistic research-based model and including patient and relative involvement.

Requirements- RGN qualification
- Willingness to complete Diploma/Degree in Critical Care Nursing
- Post-basic course ENB 124/100/920
- ENB 998/City and Guilds 7307
- Evidence of continuing education
