Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill adults in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Main Responsibilities- Manage the care of ventilated, haemofiltered, and cardiovascularly compromised patients, developing your skills and expertise in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Support Nurse Team Leaders and Nurse team managers in the training and development of junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the management of acutely unwell / deteriorating patients nursed outside the critical care setting, including Recovery and Emergency Department.
- Keep fully informed about changes in Critical Care, Outreach, and update your professional knowledge to meet the requirements for Revalidation.
- Plan and deliver patient care to the highest standard, utilising a holistic research-based model and including patient and relative involvement.

- Willingness to complete Diploma/ Degree in Critical Care Nursing.
