Adult Support Specialist

As a Senior Practitioner with East Sussex County Council, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of adults with learning disabilities. Your responsibilities will include providing daily support and supervision to staff, identifying training and opportunities, and working closely with health colleagues and partner agencies.
The successful candidate will hold or be willing to obtain a Social Work qualification and meet travel requirements. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
This hybrid working role offers the flexibility to work from home or our office based in Eastbourne, with regular travel to visit clients. We also offer professional development and career progression opportunities.
The working hours for this role are Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. An Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity is required for this position.
