Job Overview


We are working with a leading contractor to find a proactive Community Engagement Specialist for their team delivering Planned Works in Social Housing.


About the Role



  • Working on planned maintenance projects in social housing communities.
  • Decent Homes programme experience is essential for this role.
  • A full clean driving licence with own vehicle is required.
  • The successful candidate will undertake pre-entry visits and company inductions as part of the onboarding process.
  • You will collect tenancy agreement/approval forms from tenants.
  • Visiting tenants in their homes, advising them on when and what work is being carried out.
  • Acting as the main point of contact and dealing with any problems/queries that the tenant may have.
  • Contacting neighbourhood housing associations and establishing working relations with them.
  • Visiting properties being refurbished, advising potential tenants on completion dates.
  • Attending and chairing tenant forum meetings to advise tenants of works being carried out.
