As part of Capco’s Innovation & Design team, the Design team translates strategy into action, working across the product lifecycle to create and deliver digital innovations in partnership with our clients and their customers.

**Overview**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Communication specialist looking for a highly diverse, client-facing role where no two projects are the same. If you have strong observation, critical thinking, and inter-personal skills as well as impeccable attention to detail along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment then we are looking for you.

**As a Communication and Engagement Specialist, you will**:

- Translate engagement requirements into communication strategy’s that are realistic, engaging and timely.
- Facilitate workshops to understand colleague engagement requirements and understand the businesses communication channels and opportunities to enhance them.
- Manage project delivery, including the creation and management of delivery roadmaps/timelines for their own outputs as well as any designers within their team.
- Articulately communicate statues of project delivery to senior stakeholders.
- Utilise quantitative and qualitative research to generate meaningful insights that will drive creative communication strategies.
- Be responsible for the overall visual output of the engagement experience that you are designing
- Be able to work with strict brand guidelines
- Be able to effectively communicate and defend your strategies with key client stakeholders
- Design, implement and track success criteria of all engagement strategies and artifacts

- Very strong PowerPoint skills
- Strong storytelling and communication skills
- Copywriting skills
- A good understanding of human psychology
- Adobe illustrator and InDesign skills
- Ability to film and edit videos.
- Ability to create short animations.
- Skills in creating internal SharePoint/google sites pages.

**A glimpse of the kinds of challenges you might solve as a design consultant**:

- How do we engage internal bank colleagues to start adopting a new internal system that has so far not been widely adopted.
- A bank wide agile transformation training program is about to start, how do we build a communication strategy to build excitement and encourage participation.
- The bank is about to hire 100 new colleagues into their engineering area, how do we ensure they are trained and upskilled in the banks ways of working and feel part of the culture.
- Senior management don’t feel like their messages and requests are being listened to, how can we help ensure people are engaged.
- Currently training materials are outdated and boring, how can we make them more engaging and effective.
- Technical teams need to create a business case for additional funding, they can’t tell a compelling story without going into too much technical detail, how do we support them to help tell that story in a easy to understand way.
