Oral Healthcare Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Oral Healthcare Coordinator to join our team at our dental practice in Leicester. As an Oral Healthcare Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.

About the Role:

  • Assisting dentists during various dental procedures
  • Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organized dental surgery
  • Recording medical information and maintaining patient records
  • Providing support and reassurance to patients
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Working collaboratively with the rest of the team to ensure seamless running of the practice
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene practices
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • NEBDN or equivalent qualification
  • Post-qualification experience in a dental practice is essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A compassionate and patient-centred approach
  • Proficiency in computer skills and dental software is advantageous
