About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AEB Tutor to join our team at LMP Group. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering accredited remote courses to learners across various sectors, including mental health awareness, understanding SEND, and digital skills. You will also be required to plan lessons effectively, ensure activities are differentiated towards individual learner needs, and deliver training, coaching, and assessment to assist learners in developing vocational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate learner records and ensure all evidence is readily available for audit and quality purposes.
  • Implement improvements identified through performance reviews and internal quality assurance.
  • Develop and maintain professional knowledge, skills, and experience through formal training, CPD, and networking.
  • Ensure Math's and English are embedded into delivery as required or delivered standalone as needed.
  • Coaching and collaborating with learners to ensure they remain engaged and progressing well.
  • Plan innovative and differentiated lessons, and assess, review, and evaluate learner support throughout their journey.
  • Monitor learner progression and ensure all teaching, learning, and assessment is completed to enable learners to meet qualification criteria.
  • Train, assess, motivate, mentor, and support learners to develop personal and social skills for work, progression, and life.
  • Participate in standardisation and team meetings, and undertake continuing professional development as required.
  • Deliver outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment to learners.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 2 functional skills in Math's, English, and ICT.
  • Level 3 award in assessing, vocationally related achievement, or equivalent.
  • PTLLS, AET, or DET qualified.
  • Desirable: Level 4 award in quality assurance of assessment process and practice, or equivalent; ENTO HSS8 health and safety award, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in online and classroom-based learning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Track record of delivering funded employability programs, including accredited and non-accredited qualifications.
  • Record of working with unemployed people on programs that facilitate positive outcomes.
  • History of working with people with complex barriers to progression.
  • Experience in internal quality assurance and knowledge of awarding body requirements.
  • Proficient IT skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and organise own caseload and diary unsupervised.
  • Able to meet and exceed retention and achievement targets for qualifications and progression.
