About the Role

We are seeking an experienced tutor to deliver AEB remote courses in warehousing and logistics. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering online and classroom-based learning, teaching, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate learner records and ensure all evidence is readily available for audit and quality purposes.
  • Implement improvements identified through performance reviews and internal quality assurance.
  • Develop and maintain professional knowledge, skills, and experience through formal training, CPD, and networking.
  • Ensure Maths and English are embedded into delivery as required or delivered standalone.
  • Coach and collaborate with learners to ensure they remain engaged and progressing well.
  • Plan lessons effectively and ensure activities are innovative and differentiated towards individual learners.
  • Monitor learner progression and ensure all teaching, learning, and assessment is completed to enable learners to meet qualification criteria.
  • Train, assess, motivate, mentor, and support learners to develop personal and social skills.
  • Participate in standardisation and team meetings and undertake continuing professional development as required.
  • Deliver outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment to learners.
Requirements
  • Level 2 functional skills in Maths, English, and ICT.
  • Level 3 award in assessing, vocationally related achievement, or equivalent.
  • PTLLS, AET, or DET qualification.
  • Experience of online and classroom-based learning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Track record of delivering funded employability programs, including accredited and non-accredited qualifications.
  • Record of working with unemployed people on programs that facilitate positive outcomes.
  • History of working with people with complex barriers to progression.
  • Experience of internal quality assurance and knowledge of awarding body requirements.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and organise own caseload and diary unsupervised.
  • Able to meet and exceed retention and achievement targets for qualifications and progression.
