Radiography Service Manager

The Radiography Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day provision of Angiography and Fluoroscopy services, working closely with the Interventional Radiology Service Manager to ensure efficient service delivery and maintain the services at the leading edge of Angiographic and Fluoroscopic Health.
Main Responsibilities- Maintain effective communication with all relevant staff groups and be key to the operational priorities within the Imaging Suites.
- Work alongside the Interventional Radiology Service Manager to provide management and delivery of Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Angiographic, Fluoroscopic and Interventional Radiology services across multiple sites and supporting multiple directorates and specialties.
- Contribute to operational coordination in the Angiography / Fluoroscopy environment, managing both elective activity and acute admissions.
- Provide high-profile clinical specialist support to both South Yorkshire Regional services Cardiology, Vascular and Cardiothoracic Directorate and Medical Imaging and Medical Physics (MIMP) Directorate respectively.

Requirements- DCR (R), BSc Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
- HCPC State Registration DCR or BSc.
- Post-registration qualification (professional or managerial) at MSc/PG dip level, or extensive equivalent knowledge and experience in Angiographic Imaging.
- Leadership, supervisory, management qualification or equivalent.
- Teaching, coaching or mentoring qualification or equivalent experience.
- Evidence of project management.
- PRINCE 2 (Projects in controlled Environments).
- Human Factors training.
- Completed and up to date Radiation Protection Supervisor training.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to employ different forms of communication to meet the patient's needs.
