About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Care UK. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure Resident Safety: Conduct regular checks to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Maintain Premises and Grounds: Perform routine maintenance tasks to maintain the high standard of our care homes, including grounds upkeep and repairs.
- Perform Regular Maintenance Checks: Conduct thorough checks on equipment, systems, and facilities to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Carry Out Repairs: Effectively diagnose and repair faults, minimizing downtime and ensuring minimal disruption to our services.
- Collaborate with External Partners: Liaise with engineers and service agents to resolve complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct Safety Inspections: Regularly inspect fire, electrical, and appliance systems to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Report and Action Faults: Promptly identify and report faults, taking swift action to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- Contribute to Team Success: Work collaboratively with our team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
