Literacy Support Specialist Needed

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Autism Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in helping students with autism develop the skills they need to succeed academically and socially.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students in the classroom, promoting independence, and encouraging positive relationships among peers. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop personalized learning plans and monitor student progress.



Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with their learning needs in a variety of settings
  • Encourage social interaction and independence among students
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans


Requirements and Benefits
  • A degree in Psychology or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience working with children with autism or special educational needs
  • A competitive salary of £28,000 per annum, plus ongoing professional development and training opportunities
