Job Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Relief Support Workers in the Durham region. As a key member of our support team, you will provide person-centred care to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, helping them achieve personal development.

This role is ideal for those who are calm, resourceful, and passionate about delivering exceptional care. You should be confident in working within a positive behaviour support framework, accepting responsibility, and developing as a skilled practitioner.

The responsibilities of this role include building trusting relationships, supporting a range of activities, ensuring physical well-being, and addressing frustrations. Experience with learning disabilities and complex needs is essential.

As a member of Creative Support, you'll have access to our app for picking up shifts nationwide, with weekly pay. Car drivers are preferred to transport service users to community activities. Our company is committed to making a difference in the lives of those we support.

Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per year (dependent on location and experience).

We offer a competitive salary, paid training opportunities, and access to our online platform for managing shifts and tracking payments. Additionally, you'll receive comprehensive support and guidance throughout your employment with us.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of person-centred support principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs is also required.

You should be able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritise tasks, and maintain accurate records. A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality care and are eager to develop your skills, we encourage you to apply.
