Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Specialist to join our team. As a peripatetic support worker, you will provide person-centred care to individuals with diverse needs in bespoke developments across Tyneside and Durham.
About the Role:
- Travel across North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Sunderland, Gateshead, Durham, Consett, and Hartlepool to support service users with medication application, MAR Sheet completion, personal care, and community access.
- Build and maintain warm, trusting relationships with service users, prioritising their needs and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care provision and effective communication.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive environment for all service users.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to person-centred care.
- A valid driver's license is essential due to the geographical area covered.
- Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days annual leave, and company-paid enhanced DBS.
