About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Professional to join our team at Protective Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, caring, and loving environment for the children and young people in our care.

Our young people have faced incredibly challenging beginnings in life, and as a result, they often exhibit complex behaviors. As a Support Worker, you must be able to manage challenging situations with empathy and understanding. You will work with our young people to identify their goals and aspirations, and support them in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily living needs of our young people, including personal care and domestic tasks
  • Engage in activities that promote social, emotional, and educational development
  • Work collaboratively with our management team and other Support Workers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our young people

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Child and Residential care (or a suitable alternative) is desirable but not essential. We will support you in obtaining this qualification if you do not already hold it.
  • An outgoing personality, a willingness to get stuck in, and a passion for working with young people are essential qualities for this role.
  • An understanding of trauma and its effects on behavior will be an advantage, but training will be provided.
  • A valid UK manual driving license is required for this role.
