Autism Support Assistant Opportunity

A creative and inclusive primary school is seeking an ambitious and confident Autism Support Assistant to provide support to children aged 5 to 11 who have mild autism.

This is a full-time, long-term role starting in October 2024 until at least July 2025.

  • Contract: Long term until at least July 2025
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (term time only)
  • Hours: 8:30 am to 4 pm
  • Salary: £84 - £110 per day

You will work alongside a motivated team of teachers, various therapists, inclusion staff, and a brilliant SENCO.

As an Autism Support Assistant, you will help manage the classroom environment, create exciting activities, and deliver tailored programmes to pupils using the extensive resources available to the school.

The ideal candidate for this role would be either a graduate searching for the perfect role to start their career in education or an individual with experience who is passionate about Autism (ASD) and looking to work alongside the best specialist staff.

This primary school provides valuable experience for aspiring Psychologists, Teachers, Speech & Language Therapists, etc.
