Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finishing Manager to join our team at Churchill Living Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality finishing aspects of our one and two bedroom retirement apartments are completed to the highest standard and handed over snag free.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the finishing aspects of our retirement apartments, working closely with our site team to ensure timely completion and high-quality finishes.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure seamless delivery of finishing works.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any quality or safety issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our residents, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and company policies.
  • Monitor and report on site progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in construction and finishing works.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address quality and safety issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and occasional weekend working.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications, including a CSCS Supervisor Card and First Aid at Work certification.
