Commercial Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Huws Gray Group. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales and profit opportunities through product category plans, marketing, pricing strategy, and core stock strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage product categories and suppliers to deliver incremental sales and margin for Huws Gray Scotland
  • Work closely with the Procurement Team to establish strategies for key product categories and suppliers
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers at a local level to drive profit opportunities
  • Ensure internal and external sales teams' needs are met when working with suppliers and setting category strategies
  • Deliver operational strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote preferred suppliers and consider customer needs
  • Understand the marketing plan and assist as required
  • Contribute to national pricing strategy with the wider Commercial team
  • Develop control over branch margin and through margin in all categories/branches
