Become a key player in our client's diverse external field sales team, managing a patch in the South East and working closely with internal sales and other back office functions to deliver support to key customers and develop sales further within your customer base.

You will be responsible for delivering quarter by quarter sales & margin growth in line with agreed targets for the assigned group of circa 60 key accounts, identifying key competitor account opportunities and formulating plans to deliver and convert significant wins, ensuring maximum profitability from the right product and services mix.

As a skilled negotiator of significant agreements with strong commercial acumen and numeracy, you will create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, quotes, and any further documentation, with support of Operations, Legal, and Finance teams, following internal procedure.

Collaborate with assigned internal outbound sales agents that are assigned to your key accounts to ensure efficiency and support to the assigned account base.

Key Account Manager – Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Deliver quarter by quarter sales & margin growth in line with agreed targets for the assigned group of circa 60 key accounts.
  2. Identify key competitor account opportunities and formulate plans to deliver and convert significant wins, ensuring maximum profitability from the right product and services mix.
  3. Responsible for all commercial elements of the owned accounts through business analysis and business planning.
  4. Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, quotes, and any further documentation, with support of Operations, Legal, and Finance teams, following internal procedure.
  5. Collaborate with assigned internal outbound sales agents that are assigned to your key accounts to ensure efficiency and support to the assigned account base.
Key Account Manager – Skills and Abilities
  1. Previous experience with Key Account Management.
  2. Understanding of P&L, profitable sales, margin implications of particular sales and discounting policies.
  3. Skilled negotiator of significant agreements with strong commercial acumen and numeracy.
  4. Analytical experience and ability to interpret financial and sales data and results.
  5. Clean driving license.
