About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in providing financial management services to our directorates and departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Directorate Finance Manager in providing a full financial management service, including liaising with budget managers and addressing complex budget queries.
  • Prepare budget statements for directorates and departments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local financial procedures.
  • Assist in preparing procedure costs for Payment by Results, private patient prices, and SLA negotiations.
  • Set up processes and procedures to ensure timely receipt of workload and performance information for financial analysis.
