The Operating Room Nurse:
•Provides high-quality patient care in the OR, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.
•Enhances the patient experience by providing compassionate and individualized care, consulting with other healthcare providers as needed.
•Stays up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies to deliver exceptional care.
•Contributes to a positive and supportive work environment by participating in hospital committees and teams.
This is a relief part-time opportunity with a variable schedule, including days and evenings.
About this location/unit:
Nelson: Kootenay Lake Hospital's Operating Room Department is a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a strong Obs/Gyne program. The department has two OR theatres functional Monday to Friday, performing a variety of procedures, including Endoscopy, Major Obs/Gyne, Dental, Ophthalmology/Cataracts, minor Ortho, and minor General Surgery.
