About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a young girl who requires support with her complex care needs throughout the night. As a Nursery Nurse/Child Practitioner, you will provide one-to-one support, repositioning, and attend to her clinical care needs when required. You will also promote a peaceful environment to ensure a restful night's sleep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to our service user
  • Reposition and move our service user as required
  • Attend to her clinical care needs, including medication administration
  • Provide a peaceful environment to promote a restful night's sleep
Requirements
  • 3 months' previous care or childcare experience
  • Medication administration experience
  • Personal care experience
  • Moving and handling experience
Desirable Experience
  • Brain injury experience
  • Epilepsy awareness
  • PEG feeding experience
  • Oral suctioning experience
Working Hours

We have the following shifts available:

  • Full-time and part-time waking nights
  • 10pm - 8am
  • 2-3 shifts per week
  • Must be able to work alternate weekends
Pay Rates

We offer competitive pay rates:

  • Weeknights: £13.00 per hour (approx. £130 per 10-hour shift)
  • Saturdays: £13.50 per hour (approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
  • Sundays: £13.50 per hour (approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
  • Bank holidays: £15.00 per hour (approx. £150 per 10-hour shift)
