About the Role:
As a Nursery Nurse/Child Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering one-to-one support to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their families, and providing a peaceful environment to promote restful nights' sleep.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care and repositioning as required
- Attending to clinical care needs and providing a safe and supportive environment
- Communicating effectively with service users who use alternative methods of communication
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
Requirements:
- 3 months' previous care or childcare experience
- Medication administration training
- Personal care skills
- Moving and handling training
Desirable Experience:
- Brain injury experience
- Epilepsy awareness
- PEG feeding
- Oral suctioning
Working Hours:
- Full-time and part-time waking nights
- 10pm - 8am
- 2-3 shifts per week
- Must be able to work alternate weekends
Pay Rates:
- Weeknights: £13.00 per hour (approx. £130 per 10-hour shift)
- Saturdays: £13.50 per hour (approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
- Sundays: £13.50 per hour (approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
- Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour (approx. £150 per 10-hour shift)
