About the Role:

As a Nursery Nurse/Child Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering one-to-one support to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their families, and providing a peaceful environment to promote restful nights' sleep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and repositioning as required
  • Attending to clinical care needs and providing a safe and supportive environment
  • Communicating effectively with service users who use alternative methods of communication
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care

Requirements:

  • 3 months' previous care or childcare experience
  • Medication administration training
  • Personal care skills
  • Moving and handling training

Desirable Experience:

  • Brain injury experience
  • Epilepsy awareness
  • PEG feeding
  • Oral suctioning

Working Hours:

  • Full-time and part-time waking nights
  • 10pm - 8am
  • 2-3 shifts per week
  • Must be able to work alternate weekends

Pay Rates:

  • Weeknights: £13.00 per hour (approx. £130 per 10-hour shift)
  • Saturdays: £13.50 per hour (approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
  • Sundays: £13.50 per hour (approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
  • Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour (approx. £150 per 10-hour shift)
