Job Title: Nursery Nurse/Child Practitioner

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nursery Nurse/Child Practitioner to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our service users, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with medication administration and monitoring
  • Support with complex care needs, including repositioning and clinical care
  • Build positive relationships with service users and their families
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • 3 months' previous care or childcare experience
  • Medication administration training
  • Personal care skills
  • Moving and handling training

Desirable Experience:

  • Brain injury experience
  • Epilepsy awareness
  • PEG feeding
  • Oral suctioning

Working Hours:

  • Full-time and part-time waking nights
  • 10pm – 8am
  • 2-3 shifts per week
  • Must be able to work alternate weekends

Pay Rates:

  • Weeknights: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £130 per 10-hour shift)
  • Saturdays: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
  • Sundays: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £135 per 10-hour shift)
  • Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour (Approx. £150 per 10-hour shift)
