We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of our customers and contribute to the success of Riverside, a leading social housing and regeneration organisation.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct personal care to customers in line with Care Quality Commission (CQC) definitions, including showering, shaving, toileting, continence management and personal hygiene. You will also help customers with their mobility difficulties and use assessed equipment, aids or other manual handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct personal care to customers, including bathing, dressing, and administering medication
  • Help customers with their mobility difficulties and use assessed equipment, aids or other manual handling equipment
  • Record all complaints and proactively talk through the complaints procedure with customers
What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience of providing direct care to a diverse group of customers
  • Awareness of CQC standards
  • Basic administrative skills & IT Skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Office)
